Stones of Malicious Intent Passing into the East the hovering mountains that carve the horizon stare menacingly down upon any who pass through. Before the paths lie stones set and encrypted for all to read, lit by the passing fog glowing dangerously around them. These are what all must read before entering this realm, dare to enter without looking them over may result in death. |

Death Moutain High above the dark lands, a shadow is cast by Death Mountain. All who look at it fear what they can't understand unless they themselves are of a dark core. Going deeper into the land means danger...and pain. The steep, jagged cliffs are almost impossible to ascend or descend. Once you make it to the top of the mountain, there is a huge evergreen forest, providing shade and darkness. The mountain top is flat and broad. At the far end, a huge cavern provides shelter. The mountain is home to the Dark King and Queen and their minions, so think wisely before interloping. |

Shangri-La Peak Shangri-La Peak comes to the full description of being: Evil, desolate, angry, and vile. Those are the only things that can even describe how vain a land this is. With jagged rocks lining the brimming, howling forest, a terror lies within the terror. Many a kind of hunters plague the land here, with sharp fangs and appetites, the dark forests make many go hysterical with insomnia, so look once, and think before entering. Shangri-La Peak lies right under Death Mountain, right in its shadow. To live here is to live near royalty, but that does not mean you are granted such honors. |

Root River In the shadow of Death Mountain and Shangri-La Peak lies a cluster of trees, horrendously tall. Redwood and pine grace the landscape, covering any and all sunny spots in shade. The trees seem to stretch on for miles, the tops barely visible, and their impressive width leaves many tight spaces inbetween trunks. Roots scatter the ground like snakes, some overlapping, making little hills and valleys in the soil. The voyage to the center is twisting, mazelike, and only the King and his mate truly know the way, but when one gets there, they will find the thick expanse of a river, though the water is rapid and white with foam. The rocks at the bottom are slippery, as well as covered in roots. Do not fall in, for if you do, your life will soon be taken. |

Mount Vesevius Not really a mountain and certainly not the infamous Mount Vesuvius of Roman tales. Its dignified ruler named it such as a compliment to his own name and as a foreshadowing to the power it might one day posess. The island was created by some underground magma source, and this is where many of those bubbling rocks rise to the surface. Ash and smoke polute the air, often blocking out the sun while the ground is polished volcanic rock, dotted lightly with dead looking red gold grasses. A bubbling tar pitt, or rather, puddle, sits on one edge while a small hot spring, lethal to drink, sits in an opposite corner of the land. A large cave with the walls glowing orange red with fire moss and farther down and back, lava tubes, is the lair of the residing tyrant. The lowest temperature the terra has on record is 82 and that was during a freak snow storm in the dead of winter before global warming. Welcome to Hell, ladies and gentleman. |
