She reared up, striking at the imaginary enemy in the air, before bolting off after Dauntless. Eventually catching up to him, she nipped him on the hindquarters, her large draft-body thundering against the earth. The wind danced with her mane and tail, and her feathers flowed smoothly. Her neck arched, she nipped at Dauntless again.

Fate considered going after him to apologize but decided he would be better off on his own. But watching him run gave her the urge to run. She sighed and turned after him. She exploded after him, her legs nothing but gray blurs. She flew past him. "Aren't you coming?" she called back at him, not bothering to decrease(sp?) her speed

At the comment he tucked his head to his bay chest. Dauntless pushed his legs forward and bolted. he nipped the mares' manes as he ran past both them. He circled making himself dizzy, nor could he see straight. He galloped clumsily into a forest. The forest was full of foliage making it impossible to see infont of you.

She gave a buck, and ran after him, now passing the dizzy stallion. She weaved her way through, going deeper and deeper into the forest. It seemed to get warmer and the plants got thicker. "Strange..." She murmmured, but continued to gallop.

"Hey wait up!" suddenly dauntless was blocked by the thick foilage. "DAUNTLESS! where are you dauntless?" she heard nothing, only her own voice echoing."Am I alone?" she wondered. she looked around andsaw she was in fact, alone. she turned to go back the way she came but she didn't know which way she had come. all she could do was wander the forest and hope to find dauntless

Strong muscular haunches lifted the stallion into a battle stance. hooves pawing the air, his back legs bent. BOIIINGGG!!! He leapt into action, hopping through the tall grass. Dauntless squirmed as the blades gingerly tickled his sides. Limbs stretched further, heart raced faster, spirit soared higher... as he departed from the field he gained speed upon canyon turf. This was his true racing grounds. He was flying like an eagle, as swift as the birds singing their sweet melodies. Limbs were one big brown blur, his banners whipping himself silly. The eyes closed as the sound of the wind racing past his harks soothed Dauntless.

Muscles tensed, nostrils flaring, a mare bursted out of the canyon's hiding walls, clay-like ground that was damp from the surrounding water got stamped with the imprint of large, powerful hooves. The mare galloped into her land, flinging her head into the air, and her long mane flowing out behind her, with feathers blurring her legs movements. Ears perked, tail streaming, she let out a meloudic call. Painted sides showed both sides of her; the white for her good, angelic alliance, and the black for her adventuresome, fearless side that loves to have fun and explore. Stride lengthened, and her muscles rippled more than ever, dancing beneath her skin. With a buck, a smirk came upon her muzzle. She was home.

Dauntless stopped abruptly, so quickly he almost fell right on his face. his forelock fell infront of his eyes, harks swiveled in one direction. He paused and waited for something. The fire that burns ever so slightly within the chocolate orbs flared up, burning like crazy. ^"HUMANS..."^ He hissed and tossed his forelcok proudly. Those trained beasts better not set a hoof in my land. He raised his lip growling to himself. Dauntless bolted forward awaiting to attack the stampede of ignorant humans and their trained demons. He stood at his boarder, his teeth bared, harks laying flat upon his crown, ready to take on any challengers. Gun shots squiled, yoddles echoed, medal clinked, and hoof beats thundered... WEEEE Pow, clank clank, whiplash, heeyaw... Dauntless backed a little as the stampede of indians and soldiers inched closer. He cocked his head there was two groups... one group rode their horses bare back and respected them the others wore heavy tack, the men upon their back carried a shiny toy, ans shiny spinners on their heels. ^"Wait what's this..."^ A finely woven rope twirled around several of the two legged heads'. He backed even further quite scared. Who were theese people and what have they come to do? Dauntless veered sideways trying to escape the path of the stampede. A horse rammed into him sending him down. the others tramling on him. He closed his eyes... all he wanted was death and death alone. This was scarier than anything and man did it hurt. ~*~ *"Hey fellers hold up! We gots ourselves a mighty fine steed! Yuppers we dos! Well I'll be darned! Is me goin' blind or is that a wild arabian?!"* Old Joe slapped his leg. A group of soldiers huddled around Dauntless. One dismounted and checked to see if he was alive. *"Yups he's all right just a couples off boo boos.*" The soldier rubbed his gloved hands together before remounting.

Harks swivled in the direction of yipping and hoofs with metal onto them as they pounded onto the land. She gasped. Her parents had told her about this, and if ever seen, should run as far away as possible. When she merely asked why, they would chuckle. People tend to get greedy when they see a 25,000 dollar horse." Confused by what they meant, she knew it was true. Her parents talked many times about this, but she was going to do the opposite. Galloping full speed towards them, she stopped, a few yards away. There, lay her king, surrounded by the beasts. Baring her teeth, she tossed her head, Angered icy blue eyes being revealed like two rare crystals. She didn't care how much she was worth or how rare of a breed she was. All she knew was that she wanted them out of here.

Dauntless shut his eyes aand shut them good. He never wanted to see those hideous faces again. His face burned as flesh was ripped when they slid a rope halter around his head. Dauntless jumped up and tried to escpae it's grasp but he was to late for they had already tied the rope to the horn. Dauntless watched horrified as Old Joe's horse leaned backwards as any good herding horse would. ~"Why do you let them treat yo u like this?"~ He asked somewhat confused, but he wished he was as brave as that poor unfortunate soul. *"I's do what so ever they tell me cause I'm gonna get a huge butt whoopin' rewards."* The horse smirked and leaned even further back sending Dauntless collapsing. Another rope soared towards him and nestled itself around his neck. Then two ropes attacked both grasping onto one cannon bone. Dauntless struggled to get up but every strain he put into it ached. He surrendered as any royalty would. He knew that royals never fought back a fight they would not win. But a slight exception could always happen. He squirmed trying to break free of the ropes that surrendered him. More just kept on flying.

She stood and watched, horrified. Sure, no one ever cared to notice her and acknowledge her, so she was most likely like an invisible scene among the atmosphere to the riders. Stepping closer, her teeth bared. No one ever noticed her, so she guessed it wouldn't matter if she got any closer. Dauntless now looked nothing like king. She gave a soft nicker, beginning to step foreward once again. Just the thing her father told her not to do.
"But father!" she would always say. "Nonsense! I want you near none of them. They get their eyes on you, and it will be the end of your freedom." His voice would be stern and commanding, but she wouldn't care. "But they never notice me. It's like I'm some worthless old horse," "Never. If they found your worth, they would take you in a heartbeat."
She sighed. Sure, he said that, but it never happened. She didn't care. One more step. She was feet away from the group, striking the earth threateningly.

Dauntless could hear nothing around him. He couldn't even here the sweet nickers of Dove. He neighed repeatably asking for any help. If horses could cry a river would be running down his bloody face. Never was there someone to catch him when he falls. He had always fallen to the ground no one there to catch him. As king he thought some animals that roamed the lands would try to help him but nothing. Dove tried to threaten the group but they paid no attention for they were to busy torturing Dauntless. *"Gee willergers! Drinks on mes tonight! I betsa Colonels gonna bow down in praise with dis beauty!"* old Joe laughed as he chugged down some water. The whole group cheered, nothing was better than free alcohol.
