Icy blue eyes glistened in the light, as they scanned the area for her true love, the stallion that shall understand her ways and never shall he betray her. Her long, flowing mane danced with the wind as her hooves raced to keep up with its speed. The gypsy whom will look for her king. She calls out to the heaven in her own, unspoken language, only to be known by equines themselves. Her thick, muscular neck arched, and her muscles flexed, she slows to find a clearing, with many of her kind flooding it. Her eyes narrowed at the darks, fire burning inside of her. Oh, the hatred she has upon them. She paid much less attention to the neutrals, the lights only catching her eyes. Each and every light getting her eyes set upon them, searching for the one she traveled so long for. The Earth boasted with its treasures of grasses and clover, each tempting her for a bite. "My king awaits," The words were mumbled quietly, although rang with great force inside her mind. Are such words the truth? Or is there no king that awaits for her presence? She shook her head at the thought, quickly silencing the echo. The glistening of blue caught her eyes, and the cooling water made her perk in delight. Galloping over, the huge, draft-like body rammed into the waters, sending crystal like droplets flying through the air, falling around her. Soon, she exited, shaking off any remains, making the grass look to be painted with dew. Sighing, she slowly walked to a tall, shaded tree, standing under it's shading coolness. There, in the view of all the equines, she awaits for the one.

Did no one care for such a stallion? Obviously not... He grazed in dissapointment. Nibbling away at the blades of grass to make him happy. Harks laid sideways, but they twitched, quivered as he heard the crushing of grass beneath one's hooves. His head shot up and he starred at the approaching mare. His heart skipped a few beats. The beauty was breath-taking. He couldn't help but to drop his jaw. He shook his head to regain control of himself. He casually flicked his tail and he pranced over to Dove. His hooves danced beneath him. He felt a connection, a bond right away with this elegant mare. But was she the right one?

As she searched the area, she sighed. But, a stallion had made her heart thunder. She watched his elegance, such beauty, as the Arabian became closer, she quickly scanned her surroundings, checking to see if this stallion actually came to her. She danced in place, her blood seeming to get hot with excitement and happiness. Was he the one? Is he the king she has waited for, and seen in her dreams?

He trotted in a circle around the mare, starring deep into her eyes. A nicker came from him. He slowed to a walk and reared playfully, his hooves just barely leaving ground. He pranced over to her and bit a chunk of her mane, showing interest. He settled down and stood as a royal would. His forelock draped over one eye. His Arabian head tilted forward, he held his head high. A swift breeze swept his forelock away showing his eyes, compassion burning within them. A soft smile settled upon his lips. His eyes too softened. This was his chance to show the stunning mare he cared about her. ~"'Ello, fair lady." ~ He dipped his head in greeting. ~"My calling is Dauntless."~ A crooked smile crept upon his lips. ~"Quite a name isn't it?"~ He chuckled to himself. ~"What brings such a beautiful mare here? Shouldn't you already have a mate with that beauty?"~ He flashed a stunning smile and tossed his mane.

She tossed her head, making her mane and tail drift in the wind. Her head risen ed, and she playfully grabbed his mane in return, showing acceptance and great interest. Her eyes followed his as he trotted circles, and when he stopped, she began in a graceful walk around him. A smile came upon her black, velvety muzzle, and she flicked her tail in contentment. "Why, hello, my good sir," Her tone was sweet, and flowed evenly. "My calling would be Morning Dove, although you shall call me Dove. She stood proud, just like a queen on a throne. "I would suppose a handsome stallion like yourself would be crowded with mares, asking the very same question. I have no mate, and have come to search for that perfect king."

~"Dove..."~ He whispered to himself. He bobbed his head, their was a glimmer of truth in what he mare had said. He did not want to appear as a self absorbed who only cared about mares for power stallion so... ~"I've seen finer stallions."~ How wrong he was. A stunning stallion he was, a small delicate frame, an arched muscular neck, and a dished head, his coat was a silky bay and his mane and tail were as smooth as silk. He was not always wild and came from a purebred lineage.

Dove gave a nicker. She began at a brisk prance around him, giving a few soft laughs. "I have seen no better than you," Her words she spoke were nothing but the truth, as she has not seen any stallion with such beauty and manners. She dipped her muzzle before slowing, he mane blowing past her, complaining of the halt. The Gypsy's black ears perked in Dauntless' direction, and she tossed her broad, yet also delicate face.

Ahh... yet another flirt. He worked his magic and let out a warm nicker. He nipped at the mare and struck out with his hind legs not hard but soft in a playful way. His eyes were burning with compasion. He danced, panced, and glided. He leapt forward joyfully and yanked on the mare's mane signaling her to follow. His stiff legs stretched forward. He swiftly hovered across the land, stretching stiff legs into a graceful yet speedy gallop. He looked back flashing a smile awaiting for the mare to follow. ~"Come Dove, let your spirits soar, let your heart race!"~

Dove watched the stallion, giving a buck in playfulness. She lurched foreword, muscles tensing. Soon, they softened, using the strength needed to guide her across the land. The cooling wind blew against her face, making her toss her head, rising it up to let out a scream of joy. She followed the stallion, and her mind soared as the scenery whipped past her. She was sure that this was her King.

The bay zigged and zagged turning around red-orange rocky bends. He leapt forward as a moutain lion would onto a canyon rock. He acsended up the side of the plateua. He was quite fast and yet still graceful as he did so. He was a moutain goat jumping from one rock to another. He then reached the leveled surface and spun around to see if the Lady was comming.

She followed the stallion, weaving as he did so to avoid the rocks. With a few leaps, she was climbing the plateau with ease. Her hooves left prints in the chalky ground, marking her large hooves travels. She caught up to Dauntless, and nipped him playfully, waiting for his next movement.

He collected himself and did a canter circle and headed straight towards the edge of the plateua. His eyes sparkled as the reflection of the sun shone off the Colorado river. He leapt forward and plunged down into the river. He splashed playfully as the current pulled him along. He swam against the current and whinnied out to Dove. ~"Just jump and close your eyes it will be over before you know it!"~ Hopefully this was the mare's idea of fun, it sure was Dauntless'. He dipped his muzzle into the water and blew bubbles. He was still a colt at heart.

Dove gave a buck in happiness. "Finally! A stallion who finds this fun!" Without any hesitation, the mare galloped full speed towards the cliff, leaping into the air, and landing with a large splash into the chilling waters. She nickered in delight, and swam close by to Dauntless. For her size, her hooves were placed onto the ground, anchoring her to the bottom of the swift current.

Yes he had found a mare who had the same idea of fun as he did. But for the final test he dove to the bottom of the river. Grabbing bunches of river moss ad grass he drapped it acrosss him. He rustled under water pretending he was being attacked. Water splashed everywhere as he rose bove and groaned. He was cloacked with grass and moss. Dauntless pretended to be a river monster but then chuckled he couldn't pull it off. He laughed to much. He did that out of fun and the mare's reactions would help him decide wether to claim her or not .

Seeing the mossy colored horse, Dove tilted her head in puzzlement, soon realizing the stallion whom stood beneath the plants. Soon, a smiled began to spread upon her face, then a giggle. Quickly after, the crackling of a horse's laughter echoed throughout the valley. She lowered her head into the water, coming back out with the same greenery atop her face, only her bright blue eyes visible. She stepped out, and shook. The wet plants flew off, slanting with a smacking sound against the rock. She flicked her soaked tail, and gave a buck, being full of energy. She began to dance in place, waiting for Dauntless to emerge.
