The bear growled a nasty one. He struck the air with black claws. Then with both attacking an imaginary opponet. He snarled rasing his upper lip barring the left side of yellow fangs. He gave Dauntless a look of death and charged groaning with every step. ~Ah..."~ Dauntless smiled as he knew the bear couldn't run far with a tummy full of honey. He took several small steps backwards and watched the bear collapse right before his feet. ~"That's right!!! Don't mess with me or any royalty!!! This is my land you do as I please! As King of this land I forbid you to set another claw upon another breathing soul or that will be the last challenge you will ever fight!"~ Dauntless puffed out his bay cage and arched his muscular boa, his head held high, and his harsk placed delicatly upon his crown attent to the bear's every little movement. The two front daggers left the ground and sliced the air, they landed right infront of the bear's face. He pawed the ground kicking dirt up as a sign of his higliness and he, the bear, low. He flicked the black banner that streamed behind him and pranced to his lady, nuzzling her affectionatly. ~"I think he's learned his leson. What about you, ladys?"~ He flashed a victorious smile, but soon went back to his down to earth self. Being King came with many advantages. He was higher than any living creature that set foot in his lands and could do whatever he pleased.

Fate felt herself relax a little. she had been stunned to watch the bear surrender so easily to him. she looked at dauntless with a new eye. he didn't seem like a little bay anymore. he looked like someone who could protect her, someone whose herd she wanted to be a part of. which reminded her she still hadn't been claimed. "I am fine just a little shaken" fate said. "but I have reminded hysekf of the matter of me actually being part of your herd. you have invited me to join yet I have not been claimed. would you care to do so?" she asked, jutting her shoulder out

~"My dear Fate, claiming of mare's is something stallions do only for power. Claiming does nothing but make stallions look more powerful then they are. I do not wish other horses to think of me as one of those. I do not claim you but I do accept you as a member of my herd. You can go and come as you please but if you feel you must be claimed it must be so. I claimed Dove as mine as she is my Queen and she must be claimed or I could not be King of Lights. But I listen to others opinions rather than just mine. Do you Dove, my Queen believe that I should claim Fate, Fate do you wish for me to claim thee?"~ He stood as a Royal would, but his head not high for Dauntless did not want to show pride during this time. The sun beat down upon the bay back. Making his coat shine brilliantly. The land was his and was glad to be owned by such a powerful stallion. It did everything in it's power to higlight his charming physique.

Fate was stunned. never had he expected dauntless to react like that. "I shall have to consider it more. at this point, I relise, I do not want to be claimed. I would like to be able to roam and not be tied down. however if I am claimed I do apologize deeply to you. This is the only herd I would like to be a part of" with that fate turnedback towards their path "Shall we continue then?" she asked

She dipped her nose, and her eyes were thoughtful, as well as knowledgable. "Oh, dear Dauntless. Each horse is it's own self, and no stallion may ever take such away. Fate shall be unclaimed, although she shall roam with us until the day that she may possibly want to leave. We will not stop her, as it is her choice of desicion. She would do better as to not be claimed as most brutes do so. We let her roam how she enjoys, and her decision is her own." After finishing, she gave a smile towards Fate. I believe we shall continue." With that said, she took a few steps foreward, halting and lowering her head to a few bites of grass, now covered in the sweet substance of honey.

~"As we should. The sun is sinking, if we do not leave as of now we will be wandering in new land at dark. Wouldn't that be an adventure?!"~ His immature voice came into play at the end. A few hints of childness was still within him even though he was now a royal. his mind raced... could he still act like a colt even when a royal? Or does it show he does not care about his duties and would rather prance around flirting with his sweetheart? Being a royal was not as easy as he thought it would be. Actually being in power wasn't easy at all. It came with advantages but his life had more restrictions. He sighed, did he make the right choice to be King. He thought he would live in a fantasy but the only fairy tale in his life was meeting his love. He collected himself and shot into a gallop. His heart drummed and spirits soared when he connected with the land. A tight right and he was back with the ladies. As Dauntless zoomed by... ~"Hurry, hurry we must leave before it gets to dark."~ He made a sharp turn again towards Dove and Fate and then zoomed by once more. He galloped at the speed of light. Tail rised high and streaming behind him as a black majestic banner, his mane blending into the surroundings as it waved wildly. Thundering was heard all over the land, not the thunder of a storm but the pounding of hooves. Dark clouds began to roll in. The sign night was soon to follow. This only increased his speed as he wished to be home before dark. His head spun around, was he to fast did he need to slow down? He slowed his pace waiting.

A smirk came upon her lips. As she waited for him to slow, she shot off, galloping full speed. Quickly passing him, a neigh emerged from her black, velvety muzzle. "You didn't think you could outrun a mare like me?" She said it the words jokingly, as her tail whipped out behind her, and her white mane stuck out, and the black of it blended into her surroundings. Sure, she was a queen, and had high athority, but that wasn't going to stop her from having fun. She will flirt with her king at times, and have a good buck in the feild like most fillies do. As her land came into view, she gave a sigh of contentment. She was finally back at her welcoming home. Her stride lengthened, and her hoove pounded harder, leaving larger indents than normal.

A cocky smile sat upon those royal kissers. Dauntless shot a smirk and threw his head up to the raging sky. A loud rolling whinny escaped from his vocals. Delicate head tucked, frame collected and legs moving faster with every stride. BAM!!! He bursted into a gallop leaving a trail of dust behind and lighting an imaginary path with fire that followed behind him. The canyon dust danced to the heaven's above. Water dragged the dust back to earth and soaked the land. The desert rain pounded upon the pelt's of the equines and the surrounding animals. A bolt of lightining spplit the sky and lit the area. The rolling thunder clashed. The storm was welcoming the Royal's return. The rain danced before them, the lightining lit up the sky, and the thunder, a warm welcome.

She was just about invisable, the darkness surrounding her. Soon, the lightening flashed, showing the movements of a graceful draft-mare, kicking up dust that lay beneath her. Rain hit her pelt, offering her the richness of her own queenly bathing. She slowed, now trotting onto the wet, soft grass. She rounded the canyon, and it revealed it's secrets of the beautiful valley Dauntless and she own. She pranced out of sight under the tree she enjoyed resting under. Giving a sigh, she halted, now invisable to her surroundings.

The rain sprinkled the air and the moon peeked through the clouds. Casting moonlight upon Dauntless. He pranced, and danced under the light, not carring what anyone else thought. He brought his legs up high doing a spanish walk he had learned from a friend. Then he sidestepped into his own rythm. A piaffe followed. He kicked up dust as he trotted in place. Then circles, he zigged and zagged following the path of moonlight. How graceful and elegant he looked dancing under the light. His bay shimmered, his black you couldn't see, the dust sparkled as fairy dust did as it rose. The mist gave an elegant touch. It was amazing to watch the land work with his little routine. His orbs followed up to the night sky, stars began to twinkle. He sighed content, how good he felt to be back home. Dauntless pranced over to the crystal river. Thrashing forward, entering the veil of mist and finally the water pounded upon his back. His hooves stepped out of the water and onto the sparkiling red dirt. He walked sophistacatedly(sp) to the throne room and laid down upon the slightly damp floor. His eyes closed and he began to breathe deeply. The king is now asleep. The rest of the land can now rest.

Elegant eyes scanned the now resting area. All was quiet, fast asleep. She sighed, and began towards the canyon, suddenly cantering, and jumping up upon the rocky slope of the canyon trails. As rocks eroded beneath her, she jumped the last step, and the mare looked down at her land. All was quiet and calm. The wind settled, and the sun had covered itself underneath the mountains as covers. With one more look, she began to descend, pricking her way down. When she reached the bottom, she gave a nicker good-night to all of the land, and slowly began walking towards the mountains, climbing the trail to her sleeping throne.

Morning had not yet come, it would not come until a royal would wake. The sun waited eagerly to peek, the birds sat anxiously awaiting to chirp. Dauntless opened his mouth and let out a yawn. He stood up and stretched, his rump in the air while his front limbs stretched. He shook off yesterday and stepped out to today. The sun began to rise, the sky becoming shades of pinks and blues. Then the birds chirped away chatting with each other. He let out a yawn again and the neighed letting know to the land he had awaken. Bay haunches lifted him into a rear, black hooves pawed the air. He leapt forward onto stiff limbs but cantered around clumsily. He splashed into the river cleansing himself from the dust. His muzzle dove into the water and searched for delicious water grass to chew on. He fell to his knees and laid down. Listening to rushing water passing his ears. Then Dauntless rolled. Water splashed everywhere as he squirmed from the chilliness.

Fate woke up to a neigh from dauntless. she rolled over onto her side and watched him out of the corner of her eyes. hmmm that seemed like a good idea. with a rear she galloped headlong towards the river. instead of jumping in, as soon as her feet were mere inches from the water she accelerated herself over. she turned around and looked back at dauntless. she let out a nicker before mozying her way into the water. she lay there, considering trev. she felt bad about leaving him by himself.

Icy blue eyes opened from their hiding, closing shut tight once more as the queen yawned. Lifting her head, she saw as her Dauntless' resting place was freshly flattened, meaning he had awakened a few moments earlier. Stretching out her legs, she stood, giving a shake and a sigh. Stepping out of the cave, light beamed brightly onto her, giving her a "good-morning" spotlight. A few birds flew overhead, busy in conversation to one another. Down below she saw Fate and the King himself, wading and splashing in the water. The mare pricked her way downwards the mountainside, pebbles crumbling off of the huge, enormous rock they used to be attached to. When she made her way down, a quick drink and greeting to the two, and she began with a morning gallop across the land, winding her way past the canyon, knowing she was unnoticed and ignored. The gypsy slowed, and flicked her tail. The valley was quiet, and had not yet awakened. With a whinny, she began to prance through the center, coming to a halt, like her mother had once taught her. She began doing dressage moves that her old herd members showed her. When she ended, the draft slowly walked to the stream, stepping into the chilling cold freshness of the water. Her large hooves clicked against the black, sleek rock ground, and she sighed heavily, Dipping her nose slightly.

Splashing stopped, and the delicate bay head cocked. Dauntless' mind raced as he thought of what to do. ~"Racing...? Nah, I've done that to much... Ahh! I shall add a twist to the race. Obstacles, yes! Obstacles jumps, ditches!"~ He turned to his belly and raised himself above the water. He shook out the morning and bolted forward. As he zoomed by Fate a he shot out a 'Good Morning.' He raced the wind but he set challenges in his path. He jumped ditches, and jumped hedges. He soared over the obstacles. ~"Not as fun as I thought."~ Dauntless skidded on heels, slowing to a stop. His chocolate orbs lit and followed up to the top of a moutain. He shook his head, bringing him back to reality. ~"No... I must return to my throne. I've already been gone for quite a while."~ He spun around and raced back to his residing place.
